Cards are pieces of Equipment.

An in-game Monster can drop a spirit on its death. Every monster type drops its own spirit type. The spirits' drop probability is 0.01% which is equal to a 1 to 10000 chance. All cards are blue (Rare) rarity.

The spirit lasts for 3 hours. After 3 hours, it expires. The expiration date of the spirit can be drastically increased through putting the spirit into an empty bottle. The bottled spirits' expiration date is 10 days, which is 240 hours.

A Zoologist NPC can enchant the spirit into a card. After the spirit is enchanted to the card, it becomes permanent.

The cards can be used to enchant equipment. The cards can only be used to a slotted piece of equipment. To enchant a piece with a card, use a Zoologist NPCs' services.

If a piece of equipment is already enchanted with a card, it is possible to enchant it with another card. Previous card enchantment will be lost, so is the card. It is not possible to take the card out of the piece of equipment. The cards have a requirement for which type of the equipment it can be enchanted to.

The cards were firstly introduced in a pre CBT2 progress report post.
